Thank you for using BrowserTun (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App. We are strongly committed to protecting your privacy, especially regarding your internet browsing activities.
1. Local Browser Data
This App functions primarily as a web browser. All data related to your browsing activities, such as Browsing History, Bookmarks, Saved Passwords, and Web Cookies, is stored strictly locally on your device’s memory. We, as the developers, do not collect, sync, or transfer this privacy-sensitive data to our servers.
2. Data Collection by Third-Party Services
To support functionality, improve performance, and keep our services free, our App integrates certain third-party services (SDKs) that may collect specific non-personally identifiable data:
- Google AdMob (Advertising): We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your device’s Advertising ID, IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your region.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We utilize these services to understand how users interact with the App and to detect crashes or bugs. The data collected is anonymous and includes device type, operating system version, session duration, and crash reports, helping us improve the App’s stability.
- Pango VPN SDK (Secure Network Service): The App features an integrated Virtual Private Network (VPN) provided by Pango. When the VPN is active, your internet traffic is routed through secure servers to encrypt and protect your data. Pango operates under a Strict No-Log Policy regarding user activity. They do not log the websites you visit, your passwords, or the files you download. Pango may collect aggregate network-level data (such as bandwidth usage) solely for infrastructure optimization purposes.

4. Split-Tunneling & Search Engine Bypass
The App features smart routing capabilities that allow you to exclude specific applications or search engine domains (like Google or Bing) from the VPN tunnel. To facilitate this feature, the App may require permission to query the list of installed applications on your device. This information is processed strictly locally on your device (by the Android OS and the VPN SDK) to create routing rules and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
5. Information Security
We value your trust. Internet traffic passing through our VPN feature is protected by industry-standard encryption protocols (such as Hydra, WireGuard, or OpenVPN). However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security beyond our software infrastructure’s control.
6. Links to Other Websites
As a web browser, the App allows you to visit any external website. If you click on a link to a third-party site, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of any website you visit.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided data to our third-party services, it is subject to the data protection mechanisms of Google and the respective SDK providers.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time (for example, when we add new features or SDKs). We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. This policy is effective as of the date listed at the top of this document.
